PROJECT OFFICER
Faktoje, an independent media organization, based in Tirana (Albania) is looking for a Project Officer to work on the implementation of an EU funded project in the area of public accountability and budget transparency. Applicants with proven experience in EU project management and coordination, particularly in the areas of good governance, budget transparency and accountability are invited to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on the implementation of EU funded “BAT Civil Society” project and the related MEL framework, including the coordination with project’s partners;
- Support on the preparation of the final reports for the project in line with respective PRAG rules for EU funding and maintain communication with project’s donor, beneficiary institutions and other stakeholders;
- Promote project’s contribution and impact at national, regional and other for and assist the design of follow up activities based on best practices and lessons learnt;
REQUIREMENTS
- At least three years of experience in project management positions, coordination and implementation of civil society activities;
- Familiarity with EU funding PRAG rules and MEL frameworks;
- Academic background in finance, law, political sciences or other relevant studies related to public finances, accountability and budget transparency, public integrity and anticorruption;
- Excellent knowledge of both English and Albanian.
