Statements by Danish climate researcher Steffensen do not refute man-made climate change

Claim Reviewed: Danish climate researcher Jørgen Peder Steffensen has dismantled the narrative of man-made climate change through CO2. He said we were living in the coldest period of the last 10,000 years. Ice core drilling would prove that it was significantly warmer by 2.5 degrees Celsius 8,000 years ago than it is today. In addition, during the medieval warm period, it was around 1.5 degrees Celsius warmer than today. The lowest point of Earth temperatures in the last 10,000 years would be 1875, and since then it has been getting warmer in line with natural temperature fluctuations
